Elementary Schools Spring into Action in TD

Chenowith staff working on the garden space over spring break.

Chenowith Elementary Gardening

From North Wasco County School District with additions by Tom Peterson:

North Wasco County School District’s Stephanie Bowen put together this series of photos of staff and students jumping into spring activities during the past few weeks.

Chenowith Elementary School got deep into gardening as staff took time out of their Spring Break to prepare the grounds. Students, no doubt, had fun digging into dirt and likely finding a bug or two along the way.

Worms are our friends.

Remember Richard Scarry’s Lowly Worm. He was a hoot. He conned Huckle the cat into buying orange soda instead of oranges when Huckle’s mother sent him to the grocery store. You should find out what happened to Huckle by reading The Best Mistake Ever!
